Welcome to your community newspaper
The Écho of Cantley is a non-profit organization that exists thanks to the dedication of its volunteers. It has been published monthly since 1989 and has now entered into the 21st century by offering its content on the web. Since its launch, numerous volunteers have carried out a variety of tasks to produce a newspaper that is a reflection of our community.
Editorial policy
The Écho of Cantley's editorial policy is to publish all letters it receives while retaining the right to shorten some submissions for design purposes and to decline the publication of letters that consist of personal attacks. Non time-sensitive letters may also be published in a subsequent edition if the current month's edition is already full. All letters must be addressed to the Écho of Cantley, and must be signed by their author, who will also have to include his or her name, address, and telephone number.
Editorial Policy during the Electoral Period
Since municipal elections will be held in Cantley in November 2009, the Cantley Echo Board has developed an editorial policy for all candidates vying for the Councillor and Mayor positions.
